My counseling practice is thriving, so I am no longer available for consultations to determine if we would be a good fit. Here are some frequently asked questions (FAQ) to assist potential clients.
Who do you see?
I accept individuals of all races, genders, ethnicities, and cultural backgrounds, ages 18-65, who live with anxiety, depression, postpartum, chronic health issues, and substance use/ addiction issues or are a caregiver/ partner to these. I am not accepting couples or families at this time.
How do you conduct sessions?
My counseling practice is entirely online. I offer sessions via phone or video and use Google Meet.
Are you in Wisconsin? What if I am not?
Yes, I live in Wisconsin and am licensed to practice counseling statewide. Per licensing regulations, you must also be physically located in Wisconsin for our counseling to be ethical and legal.
When can I see you?
My office hours are Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, starting at 8:00 AM and concluding by 4:00 PM (my last session begins at 3:00 PM). I do not offer evening hours or weekend appointments, We are actively involved in our community, and I value this balance.
How much does counseling with you cost, and how do I pay for sessions?
Fortunately, I accept insurance from United Healthcare/ Optum/ UMR, Anthem/ BCBS, The Alliance, Cigna/Evernorth, Security Health Plan (only commercial and SAS), MDlive and some eap's. please note: i do not accept medicaid or medicare even if you have an hmo that i carry such as bcbs.
The prices for my services vary based on the time you will be seen and insurance coverage. My practice manager, Kim, will assist you in onboarding,
including benefits verification and payment.
I have been court-ordered to do counseling, or it has been suggested I participate in counseling. Can you help?
I am no longer taking clients seeking counseling for legal, work-related, or custody (parent/ child or spousal) issues.
